JCB Saudi Arabia Inauguration
JCB’s Saudi Arabia dealer aiming to make the company’s machines the biggest sellers in Saudi Arabia
Abunayyan, which has just opened a brand new headquarters in the Saudi capital of Riyadh and is opening two further depots, has been appointed to sell exclusively within the kingdom.
It is set to capitalize on a market, which has fallen over recent years but is still expected to close at around 5,000 units in 2016 and is set to remain at that level in 2017.
ATC has also set itself a challenging market share target over the next 12 months to make JCB the leading brand in the country.
Key to this is the new 5,500 square-meter headquarters built in a prime location and which comes with a large air-conditioned showroom.
It also features parts counter and warehouse, a 9 bay workshop and an innovative Uptime Centre at the heart of the operation, to keep track of all machines sold.
Currently, it employs 65 people in sales, service and parts roles.
Based in Riyadh this covers the central region of the country, while over the coming month’s depots will be built in the port city of Jeddah to cover the west and Dammam (in the east).
ATC shall also dedicate seven outlets scattered across the kingdom to act as parts and service outlets for the JCB customer base ATC sells a full range of machines including backhoe loaders, wheeled loading shovels, tracked and wheeled excavators, Skid steer loaders, mini excavators and compaction equipment.
“This new headquarters and the strategically based depots will fulfill that ambition.
Abunayyan is adopting innovation as well as a new approach to the market and customer satisfaction as its major keystones.”
